You and me both! I have just begun to substitute in Ohio public schools. I find that I love the children and love being in the school atmosphere, but the lack of that little piece of paper is holding me back - I have school loan debts and a BA in Classical & Medieval Studies, and my alma mater U., the only job placement they provided for Liberal Arts majors is entry level business positions! (pardon my verbs) I want learning to be a wonderful invigorating experience for students, but Proficiency testing doesn't allow for that.

I'd welcome a dialogue from you and any interested party.

HC
